Fixedfloat — Terms

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FixedFloat platform at fixedfloat.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of the fixedfloat swap service. If you do not agree with any provision contained herein, you must immediately discontinue your use of the platform. Continued use of the service following any published update to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version. The platform reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and it is the responsibility of each user to review them periodically. Accessing the service through any device, browser, or third-party integration is subject to these terms regardless of the method of access.

Eligibility to Use the Service

Use of the FixedFloat crypto swap service is restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By initiating a fixedfloat swap, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and that you are not located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where cryptocurrency exchange services are prohibited by law. Users are solely responsible for determining whether their use of the platform complies with local regulations. The service is not available to individuals who have been previously banned from the platform or whose use would violate applicable sanctions laws. The platform reserves the right to restrict access to users from specific regions where legal or regulatory conditions make service provision untenable. Providing false information regarding your eligibility is a material breach of these terms.

Permitted Use of the Service

The FixedFloat platform is provided solely for the purpose of facilitating legitimate cryptocurrency swap transactions between users and the automated exchange engine. You agree to use the fixedfloat swap service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to, money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, market manipulation, and the evasion of legally imposed sanctions. Users may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform's infrastructure in any unauthorized manner. The platform's API, where available, must only be used in accordance with the separate API usage terms published on fixedfloat.io. Any detected misuse of the service may result in immediate suspension of access and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Disclaimers

The FixedFloat swap service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The platform does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical defects at all times. Exchange rates displayed on the platform are sourced from live market data and are subject to change; the fixedfloat instant rate option locks a rate for the duration of the swap window, but market rate options may fluctuate before confirmation. The service is not responsible for losses arising from user error, including but not limited to incorrect wallet addresses submitted during a swap. Cryptocurrency markets are inherently volatile, and the platform makes no representation regarding the future value of any digital asset exchanged through the service. Users assume full responsibility for their own trading decisions and the financial risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FixedFloat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the fixedfloat crypto swap platform. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of digital assets due to network failures beyond the platform's control, or unauthorized access to your personal wallet. The total aggregate liability of the platform to any individual user for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by that user in connection with the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of liability, and in such cases the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms shall limit liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the platform operators. Users who have suffered losses are encouraged to contact support directly before pursuing any formal legal remedy.

Changes to These Terms

FixedFloat reserves the right to update, amend, or replace these Terms of Service at any time at its sole discretion. When material changes are made, the platform will publish the updated terms on fixedfloat.io and update the effective date displayed on the terms page. It is the responsibility of each user to check these terms regularly for updates that may affect their use of the fixedfloat swap service. Changes become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated. If you continue to use the platform after revised terms are posted, you are deemed to have accepted those changes in full. Users who disagree with updated terms must cease use of the service and may contact the support team if they have questions about how changes affect pending or historical transactions.
